Hi there. My name is Denise Purrington.  I have been designing & creating my award winning bears since 1995.  I have always loved art since as far back as I can remember, (getting scolded by my teachers for drawing when I should have been paying attention to the lessons of the day : )  My Mom taught me how to sew when I was a child, but at the time had no patience for it.  Drawing & sketching was more my speed (& desire).  Mom’s sewing lessons came in handy when I started my Teddy Bear Career.  Thanks Mom!!  Mom really does know best : ) So many people have no idea about The Collectible Teddy Bear World.  For those of you who fall into this category, my website offers pages that will give you a better idea about these wonderful mohair creatures.
